(this was written in 1998, but I thought I would dig into my older ones today. Hope you enjoy!) IN MY NIGHTS. You are timeless, ageless, a sweet whipser in midnights' bliss. You are fine linen edged with eliquent lace. A breath of freshness to my dusty place. You are tart strawberry wine. A mysterious cold, mist so fine. You are my breath as my soul ages. A wonderous chapter as I turn the pages. You are the cool evening mist. A black rose with a drop of dew, kissed. You are my lone visitor in the night. A welcomed sight. You are the cold evening rain. A pleasurable pain. You are soft , deep, blood-red velvet. A peace with in my torment. You are the comfort in my night. A gohstly plight...to leave befor my dawn on the wings of ravens in flight.< !signature--> "There is an alter ego which dwells in every soul..." a-alibaster "I am as I am, nothing more, nothing less, I am tears of pain, tears of Death. |

Very, very nice. I particularly enjoyed "You are the comfort in my night" Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. -William Wordsworth- |
