Yesterday I gave, and in the giving Knew all of Life in one short taste Of ecstasy...that made a flowered glory Bloom in desert waste! Today the buds lie sere and brown, In hopeless drouth expired... What a profound poem! There is indeed great pleasure in giving, and such desperation in finding that the gift was not wanted. Wonderful, as usual. Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Rex what perception!! It can be taken as a gift or a curse???? This was wonderful hon, and I must add I too thank you for sharing with us in DP considering you are much more accomplished than most of us here...
