my arms reach to capture the elusive wind my eyes burn, wistfully they burn for you Despite my love for you Despite how willing I am to throw my suspicions away My heart is never open And I am always alone my tears shiver and capture the golden sunlight my eyes wait, imploreing my eyes wait for you Despite my want for you Despite how willing I am to throw my chances away My heart is stuck shut And I am always alone your arms reach to capture the elusive me I want to give myself to you but my heart keeps holding me back my heart my heart screams, painfully my heart screams for you Despite my love for you Despite how willing I am to throw myself into your arms My heart dosen't open I am forever alone |

Brilliant poem! I love your work! And if it's about you, take the plunge. Although I'm not quite sure how you can get your heart to change it mind. Hmmm. Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

Wren, that expresses so much. I see, in addition to the frightened heart, also an elusive lover. I may be reading wrong, but I see that if the lover was more fully giving, then the little closed heart would open. But it's waiting for the key, and he has it, and is not using it correctly. Or not even realizing that he has it. Let me know if I'm wrong. I have this tendency to appply all poems I like to my own life Catalinamoon "If a man moves you to feel like a woman, the least you can do is let him." Merrit Malloy |

Cat- If you want the truth....... Its more like I have finnally found a man who is willing to try and unlock my heart. The problem itself lies in my heart. He is trying, I know he is, and I love him for that...it's just that I have so many bad memories- and they keep getting in the way. Thats the truth behind this poem. -Wren The thread of destiny Unknown by anyone Unseen by anyone Winds around your heart Moist with tears -Vampire Princess Miyu Theme |
