Deep... Deep down inside It's so black and cold Alone as alone can be I try to run, try to hide Far away, deep inside Hurt myself, tore a hole Bleeding body, losing my soul Can't really function, so full of fear What have I become A beast to many, an angel to some Built another wall, another hidaway A different place, some other day I'll do the same Try to make it go away, kill the pain So very tired, need some rest I'll sink, further and further down 'Til this world is nothing but a bad dream Wherever it is, it's better than this Yeah I think I'll go tell myself I'm going down Deep, deep, deep down inside -------------------------------------------------- Base not your joy upon the deeds of others, for what is given can be taken away. No hope=no fear |

Broken...deep inside is a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there. Nice poem. Very moving. Hardrock |

This is an excellent poem. Though I am inclined to disagree No hope=fear, for me at any rate. I hope you're OK!!! Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

Alot of pain here, but not someplace I want you to stay. Sometimes when we reach the bottom the only place to go is up, and I want you to find the top again, my best to you, a very good poem, but sad |

I've missed you my dear friend...I was also curious as to how you were doing. Once again...your words are an echo of the silent song my spirit sings and as usual you've done an excellent job. Unfortunately you can't run or hide from who you are...believe me I've tried just as I know you have...but I hope you can find some form of peace within yourself. We need a balance between the worlds that collide within our souls. But you're not as alone as you think you are...I'm never too far away. Yours Truly, Angel I wish you could hear the child that cries in my flesh and makes my bones ache -Jewel ~*Angel of Darkness*~ |

Your words echo from the depths of despair. Great poetry. Jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. "Yield thou not to adversity, but press on the more bravely". |
