It feels as if my eyes are being poked from the inside out
Burning balls of fire hanging by a thread
Inside my still and heavy head
I cannot feel me blinking
There's not a thing of importance I'm thinking
And one solitary hair
Dangles against my cheek
As it has been there since I have got here....

It's got to have been weeks.

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old time is still a-flying,
And this same flower that smiles today
To-morrow will be dying.

Going over the good and bad is enough to drive anyone insane at times!! Assess, learn, correct the mistakes and move on hon.
Reflection is good but not too much

i don't know if it relates but this reminds me of times when i get really lonely.. i guess the worst thing is when you don't feel anything at all.. i would rather feel the loneliness rather than being numb.. anyway, great poem, joy 14.
