I've been here once before and seen Poor people grow poor Rich people think this world as one big score So i wish to die once more Never To live again. In the heart of greedy mortal men. I'm a dying romantic and when i can no longer write i can no longer live -Jeremiah Johnson- |

Jeremiah, this is simply wonderful. You sum up the downside of modern society in so few words. But I have to add (I feel the same way as you, so I'm always looking for positive things) that there are still people who care. Think of those few but devoted people who donate their lives to good causes, be it helping the poor, the environment, animals or whatever. Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |
