I hold my heart out to you
but it's like no one is there.
I want to give you everything
but you don't seem to care.
You only continue to play games with me,
ripping my heart apart.
The words you say are killing me.
They're words that you should have said from the start.
Still you tell me that you love me
but I guess it's not enough for you to stay.
You tell me "this ain't good-bye"
"we'll be back together someday".
"your not ready to be tied down
or to push other girls away".
Now I'm left to wonder as I sit and think
maybe you fell out of love with me today.
I haven't talked to you,
you haven't called or been on-line.
I miss you and im upset but really can't be mad
because I can't help but remember your no longer mine.
I love you so much and I don't know what to do
but hold my pillow tight as tears fall from my eye.
I'll go to church on sunday
and pray my heart out that this really ain't good-bye.
