Expensive Medicare, children on Welfare, people dying, hungry babies crying, what has the world come to? Sell your soul, make some cash, kill your kids, just make sure the stock market doesn't crash. Monetary units are scarce these days, live for money, work your lives away, government make sure only the innocent ones pay. Elderly with no clothes, women working being hoes, Jerry Springer make 10 million to laugh as the world is broken, what has the world come to? |

We'er not on the eve of destruction yet....but we are headed there unless someone turns this juggernaut around. Hopefully your poem will make people think. Nice job, Angel. Hardrock |

~Oh I always think of these things. You have written this so well. Certainly a thought provoking poem. Thanks for sharing it and it's message. Take care. *Peace. |

How I wish there wasn't truth in what you say, but it is so true, unfair and painful. Very well written, I enjoyed reading it. I have an elderly mom, so I see alot of unjust things in society. |

My words exactly. I ask myself these questions everyday. Nothing makes sense, does it? I often wonder, if I have children - how will I explain the contradictions of modern society. A great poem here. Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

How sad and how true! Even sadder is the fact that we have no one to blame but ourselves. Excellent job!! Life be not God's greatest gift. Of what worth be life without the capability of love? |
