I squint my eyes
And look out through my lashes caught in the way
The sun isn't even shining
I'm trying to make you laugh, okay?
I never was the class clown
Or even brash or bold
And
My kookiness I guess
"Isn't a genetic thing"
That's what I've been told
So even though I haven't got that cheap laugh sort of bone
You shouldn't cross me in a chicken wire
If you don't want your fowl to be flown
That's all there is
And Mr. Man
You can't tell me that's not pure gold!

I thought this place might need some cheering up.

Awww that was a great poem & we need happy poems once in a while can't get too dark in here or i wont be able to see what im writin lol
