here's a news flash:
I don't need you
I may have at one time
          but I've moved on
I don't need anyone
I know who I am and who I was
I know what I am and what I was
so, before you tell all your friends
          better think twice
becuase there are two sides to every story
and so far, they've only heard yours
I've kept mine to myself because it's past
          it's done,
no need to go over it
we've both made mistakes
and now it's time to go
the only problem is
you seem to think that the rules are
                    different for you
that you can do whatever you want
you keep secrets, but expect to know everything
you tell lies, but expect to hear the truth
well, it doesn't work like that

why torture me?
you've found someone else
let me go
I've already let you go
and I did find someone else
myself. . .

this just proves you don't know me as well as you thought you did. . .

Hope you've 'purged' now hon.  Those feelings are much better out than in.  Hope you feel better for it, and that you're back on track where you're destined to be...
*hugs*

Isis, without question. . . always better to have it out than in. . . does no good there. . . thank you my friend. . .

deVine, yes, I'm venting. . . thank you!!

Lana, anger?  Possibly, but I would say more frustration than anything. . . which is why I'm letting it go before it DOES become anger. . .

WOOHOO!
If you were a woman, I would have to say hear me roar!
But, you are not...so I will just say...excellent job on this one my friend.
It shows a lot of depth in emotion. I think it is one of my faves now!

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

Ok, now pardon me, Mr. Are you inside of my mind and listening to my thoughts???
WOW!!! Great piece!! I should send this in a card to the ex fiance. This was brilliant. I've written one similar, but not quite this powerful. Love it!!!!
