You Need Not Fear The Night |

You've tasted the darkness, It is such a cold and bitter pill, The pain and fear seem too much, It leaves you feeling drained and ill. You want so much, Yet give so little, Will you not see? It all ends up useless spittle. You have to be the change That you want to see in the world, You have to love to be loved, Let those vicious talons uncurl. Instead of asking soulless questions, For the sake of 'appearing' to care, You ask from the heart, If you can find it inside somewhere. When others are hurt, You lend a helping hand, Don't shout down those orders, And force them to stand. Your eternal soul is on offer, Don't slap the truth in the face, You have to love and live your life, Not use strength to take truth's place. Open yourself up now I beg thee, Become the waiting vessel, For if you don't I fear for you and your sanity, Too much darkness to wrestle. Step out of the dark, Embrace the light, Become a child with knowledge, No longer need you fear the night. *The heart of education is the education of the heart...* ~Isis~~Sovereign of the Spirit. |
