Do you know how it feels,
to never finish something you start?
Like you're just floating along,
not ever knowing your part.

The world is so big,
just not for me at all.
One big death trap,
awaiting my fall.

It all starts out so easy,
someones got a great plan,
but somewhere things mess up,
and your left in the can.

In all the confusion,
of day to day life,
its a wonder I'm not drowned,
in a sea of selfpity and strife.

I've had my share of enjoyment,
and to much (language edited) for some,
and mixed with all the pills,
its left me quite numb.

Sometimes, I don't even know,
what I could be trying to say.
But I do know,
today has been one Hell of a day.

I know so many who can identify with this poem. i've been there and I am stuck there. my boyfriend actually wrote a song very similar to this a while back.

too much bullsh*t for some and mixed with all the pills its left me quite numb... I really liked that part. I can totally relate, and just know that you are NOT alone in that feeling, there are many in that same place right now... Great work!

I too know where you are coming from hon. You do have the power to change things though..
I ended the language (or should I say *asterisks instead of), you are surely aware that swearing and asterisks are considered the same thing???
