Spend my time waiting,
waiting for nothing,
waiting for no one,
waiting for madness........

Treakle weeps through my veins,
trickle treakle slow weep like rains.
It creeps along and i lay limp
creatures creeping over sand like shrimp,
jointed legs and spidery eyes.
Hovering faces,glimmering lies.

Spend my time wanting,
wanting for nothing,
wanting for no one,
wanting for insanity......

Feeling cotton candy sorry for me,
Dealing feelings,the pusher makes 3.
Three new recruits for the asylum,
name your address,genus,and phylum.
I want to chock it up to insane,
so i won't ever have to explain.

Spend my time wishing,
wishing for nothing,
wishing for no one,
wishing for goodbye.....

I like black, the universe does too,
Black slacks and one brown shoe.
A three penny thought from my friend Joe,
he says i'm sick, and i've got to go.
An institution??¿where everything wears white??¿
floors, walls and ceiling,i swear i'll scratch and fight.
Don't take me in there!! Don't make me stay the night!!
I know i'm crazy,but this just isn't right!!
Shoot me up with what you like, break up any pattern that i had,
in the end i am what i am,stone cold raving mad.
Dismembered,disheveled,disembodied,bereft.
You took away the ordered words, all that i had left.

CCogito ergo sum,
ii think therefore i am.

"Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou "i said" art sure no craven." Ghastly grim and ancient raven, wandering from the nightly shore, tell me what

I can releate to the limbo felt in this poem.  If you think your crazy than i am to. *God help the world*  But in truth you are one of the most sane people out there if you realize what you realize.

It will help you carry on

Wow. You really get under the skin with this one Swampy.

I hope you're not feeling as down as this! Like baerlon said - to see as you do right into this thing makes you one of the sanest among us....

Powerful, powerful writing from the heart...

Take care of you, okay?

Thanks everyone
Baerlon- well said, and as Emily Dickinson (been reading alot of her stuff lately, can you tell? lol)
"Much Madness is divinest Sense-
To a discerning Eye-
Much Sense-the starkest Madness-..
....
Assent-and you are sane-
Demur-you're straightway dangerous-
And handled with a Chain-"
sometimes i wonder if us "crazy" people don't have one over on the sane robots out there??¿ interesting thought.

serenity- i too have a fascination with so called "madness" and all things psychology, but it seems society in general doesn't share our interest. lol.thank you for your commet =-]

firecrakker-have you ever read sylvia plath's the bell jar??¿ Always wanted to be able to make someone feel the madness, like she does in her book, after reading it your mind has a totaly differnt feeling to it,i'm flattered that this took you on such a "mental journey" =]

allan- thanks =]no,i don't forsee being institutionalized any time soon,it's just my imagination running wild. although i am *supposedly* borderline manic depressant.

thanks again everyone
