Why do people lie? To gain some trivial triumph? With good intentions they just forget? Or because it seems right at the time? To lead you on, then laugh as you fall and regret? Whatever their purpose, It's a loss for all involved, It accomplishes nothing, And they didn't gain control. The power to manipulate? Perhaps that is it? To rule their little corner of the world, Only as they see fit? The liar IS the liar, Nothing can change that fact, Perhaps they try in vain, Because there is something that they lack? Don't they see the BIGGER picture, That hurt, let down and bad karma they create? The loss, the embarrassment, the tears, They are only driving another dark nail into their bed of fate. It always catches up with them, They are judged in this life and the next, The bad will outweigh the good, The gates of eternal happiness don't open on pretext. I pity those that lie, Whether it's knowingly or not, For their filth slowly rises like quicksand, And they are eternally stuck in the rot. Their inner child is evil, Their inner peace non-existant, And when their judgement day comes, There will be nothing they can do to fix it. They refuse to learn, Heads all full of delusion, And invariably they will know, Utter lonliness, despair and confusion. Their dark language will cause them, To miss so many gifts in this life, Instead they'll be plagued by darkness, Unending fear, pain and strife........... < !signature--> *I believe every time you put your words to paper, you change. This was a good one*S* and so true! believe in the power of 3 whatever you put out comes back 3 folds.... If you can't be true to yourself...you won't be true to others :( |
