Sometimes
It happens like that

Every eternity swells to meet
One moment

Truth and hope and life
Join with rhythms of the past
And make a shining new moment
Of purest joy

Life is answered in a single second
And with a smile
Ancient memories depart

Sometimes
It happens like that

And sometimes
She can only sit
And play in her hot chocolate
Longing for anything more

You can truly feel the hope, longing, and melancholy in this! I can almost imagine sitting in that coffee shop

thanks guys. i was talking to one of my friends at the mt cup the other day, and that phrase just popped out, and (she writes a lot, too) we both just grinned and started talking about it. so, i knew it had to become a poem. thanks again, guys.
