Well, here it is, a poem with no redeeming value. But it just had to come out, bear with me... I know I can't have him, not the way that I want. I know I can't love him, not as much as I want. I know he will never be mine, no matter how much I want. I know he will stay with her, no matter what I want. I know when I'm with him, I have just what I want. I know that the distance is much greater than I want. I know, I know, I KNOW, I beat my head against the wall with the knowing. And stll I want.... |

"When you know you can't have what you want, where's the profit in wishing?" - Stephen Sondheim. A poem with no redeeming value? Is there such a thing? It looks like this one touched a few people, me included, so it's got some value. Keep letting them out. |
