Within this room of tattered souls
Lying hearts embrace..
Trying to find a common mind
To show an empty face..
Desire, anger, passions flare
Through thoughtless blinking words..
Transparent on a flashing screen
Inside this private world...
Many strangers touch our lives
Fufilling shallow needs..
Destroying any future joy
When kindred spirits meet...

**I think I need to get outdoors more often..*grin*

Hi, welcome, thanks for responding to my poem, and I LOVE THIS. I don't get out enough either, and when I do, it seems to go badly.
Great poem, keep it coming.

LOL... Perhaps I was a bit harsh with this..!!

.. It is just so sad to see so many people looking to fill their empty hearts with strangers who may not care. Experience has shown me, though, that when the empty hearts find each other, whether here or outside, blessings can abound... and Victoria, drop the pc, now!! lol
