-Not the Only One- such insightful daze such interesting ways such deliberate malcontent such life we rent ok so i've not always made sense i've not always come close i've written what i could i've listened when i should i've loved all in a sense ok so i don't always climb a fence different people have different styles different people hide the same smiles different souls show what they need different shores beckon me ok so i don't always pass tense within an angel is love divine within love yours or mine within she cries again today within she's been away ok so i'm not always here looking at the stars above looking into a forgotten love looking just to be looking for sanity ok so i'm not always pure chancing a life together chancing a wonderous endeavour chancing a jump through the trees chancing just you and me ok so i'm not quite a poet but life and dreams combine but life can always seem to rhyme but life can smile upon your soul but life can't just let you know ok so i'm not the only one J.L. I read this twice and found myself just loving the rhythm, and the concepts in here. The why you have used 'ok' at the start of some of the lines creates natural verses within a verseless framework - and it comes together so well... ok so i'm not always here looking at the stars above looking into a forgotten love looking just to be looking for sanity oh, and how I can relate... Thank you, it really pulled me to write it. Damn, I feel backwards again. I love you all for being analytical, and spiritual with me as i've written. Poets are definately a gift to people. With permission, I'd like to submit a very long poem. It is for and about poets. |

Of course you can submit a long poem! You don't need to ask hon...there is no 'set' length for a poem in here, or any of the forums for that matter. And I totally agree - poets are definitely a gift to people...their hearts and words hey? They often just have a way about them... hugs K |
