Every day and every night, I feel the warmth of your body, I touch again your man soft skin, I always want you near me. Running my fingers up and down your arm, Absently whilst watching a movie or video, You caress and touch in return, Love not going anywhere but still we yearn. Trembling with joy not desire, Tis you alone that sets my soul on fire, Why is it this way? Is this our cross to bear each day? To see you, touch you, feel you, smell you, To look anywhere but into your eyes, Holding every moment as sacred, Fearing when we must say goodbye. To reach out absent mindedly, And you are always there, To sit as two in a chair built for one, When are you gonna find me? It's always been this way, Though we should know better than this, Will it always be this way? Something akin to bliss? And all this makes the letting go, So much harder than it should be, What is this thing between us? That is so much bigger than you or me? Who can tell us? Who can open our eyes to the truth, The truth that keeps eluding us, So much more than just lost youth. Erin thanks hon! But can I ask what is the big deal??? Is it I am describing emotions well or what? I didn't think this was so good or brilliant by any means. Hope you read this and respond???? Isis~ I dont know what it is. You just have a way with the words. I dont think that I could ever express myself like you did. Maybe later but not now. I am the type of person who keeps it all in then lets it out a long time later. Its like if Im gonna be happy everyone is gonna know cause I will wear a big smile, but if Im sad I wait to let my feelings out to myself. And keep a journal on how I feel. But it just grows inside of me to where I can only let it out to someone I believe really cares. But you show it like its easy. Erin, Wouldn't say it's easy, I too have kept diaries and journals. Been writing since I was in my early teens. I look at other's work and think they are far more descriptive than I, so I am like you there I think. Like we never think our own work is good enough.... And the things bared here aren't all that secret they are honest, beautiful feelings... I have learnt a lot in my 33 years especially the last 3 - 4 years and I believe any description of love and friendship is beautiful and not personal and meant to be shared so others are reminded of the special people in their lives and remember to love them too!!! Isis~ I started writing just barely last year. It was for an english assignment. Well when I found passions I found something that I actually liked to do. And I still have alot to learn about it. I mean just like 2 weeks ago I learned how to write haiku's and senyru's. ~*Love is sometimes like a rose. Beautiful in the beginning but dies in the end.*~ |

Beautiful poem Iris and somehow I know you'll find the answers your looking for, sometimes Have you noticed how we ask more questions even after we have the answers just a thought but I know I tend to be that way. |

A great piece dearie *hugs* it made me wonder myself,will the search for our answers ever be found in life???
