Let me try to ease
your mind
Pain and sarrow
in your soul
depression
you can't control.

Yes I know I can ease
your mind

Take this pill
You will unwind

It will make you happy
all the time

I will numb your mind
and make you blind
to realities
you wish not
to see

Hmmm - Interesting.

I wonder. No reflection on your poem, which is well done, but I have to wonder what you all think about society's propensity toward curing with a pill?

I really like this, and I understand. I wrote a song called Little Girl once. Different theme, but the title is what intrigued me.
