she takes a long look through the window and in it, she sees glimpses of her life what it could be, what it would be if only. . . if only. . . she feels that this is all there is that there is nothing more if I could only make her see that there is if only. . . if only. . . she looks again and sees nothing but pain she doesn't see the love that she has in her life the love of her child and of her friends and while she still does not have the love she feels she needs, the love she does have could be enough if only. . . if only. . . she sits again by the window and looks out at the world and I look back through the window hoping to reflect back to her the light that she shines to me the light that I know is in her shining for all to see if only. . . ----------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Can't believe no one else had read this. Their loss. Once again this is the perfect depiction of me hon, it has now become 'my anthem'/ Copies of it everywhere. Isis I know that you desire the exact same thing that we all want...to be loved and appreciated by the significant others in our lives...if we don't receive this love we feel disappointment, loneliness, pain, and emptiness. I love this one..it is so true...but sometimes someone needs a special kind of love to feel whole..even when they have all the other loves you mention..sad but true.. |
