His eyes were that of crystal Glimmering through the night Little did I realize He had me in his sight I heard him whisper So softly my name It was surely time To play his death game I stood up tall Knowing I must win And if I didnt I would never see my kin I fought long and hard He had more power than me I had no inner strength I had no destiny My eyes became swollen From all the tears I cried This battle I have lost For today my soul has died No person is worth your tears, and the only one that is ...... will never make you cry |

Wow! The title is perfect for this piece, very powerful, and painful. "The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest" ~ My Angel. |

Amazing poem, I really loved it! Take Care! "Most girls want a man with the mean green Don't wanna dance if he can't be Everything that I dream up A man that understands real love" |

This is powerful, and I believe the first I've read of yours, I am sorry to say, but it won't be the last. Kathleen |

This is very well written and I too can relate to it on all levels, with the gender rolls reversed. It reminds me of the first poem I posted on the Dark Passions #1 forum. I'll e-mail that one to you so you can see what I mean. Anyways, I hope all is well with you. Keep up the good work! ![]() G Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't |

I come back from being gone for days, and everyone is so depressed...I can't understand it. I hope your soul hasn't died though ![]() ![]() "Those little slices of death, how I loathe them." -Edgar Allen Poe |
