SEEKING When your lonely Longing into the far away Desperately seeking It is like the roar of the sea You try and grasp it's great power You hear it's majesty But cannot reach into it Too many words that you cannot say And there is a lose for any sound to utter Seeking higher ground to stand on Floundering all the way, you miserably fail Desparaging failure brings on the cold damp The darkness ingrained in your soul You have drowned to a bitter depth Into a sea so great, that won't set free The very sea you tried to conquer Overtook your living soul Seeking your saving breath No one can save you now Even while you seek You finally drown [This message has been edited by Illusion (edited 09-19-2000).] |
