Vile fiend of hell; gloom's desolation, grinning in thy ghostly horrors, mock not my thirsty, toil spent soul as I traverse torn and trampled battlefields of life's temptations; night's conflagrations. O' misery and mourning, restless heart and fevered brain, tossing in the great deep of sin, 'mid howling chorus and moaning seas, victims of dark siren's song, sinking, ever sinking, unto Perdition. |
