The dead rose And so she stands, that dead rose over there Letting her head hang down, down to the ground The water and sun she needed were taken from her Was it ment to, or just a stupid mistake? At the time she was growing, she was pulled out Pulled out of her life, living in strength She was an exception, she was out of tone But what was wrong? Was it her beauty, which she did not have? Or just the bad luck, she just stood out... It doesn't matter anymore right now Her beauty, her power, her strength, all is gone It hurts to see her standing there All dried up, little dead rose Why does it have to be like this? That the beauty of life is pulled away? She loved it, wanted it, needed it But that one person ruined her dream To live on... Though I have NO idea what Virgin Suicide is! lmao...this was a good piece. This reminds me of the style I wrote in high school. Sad, yes, depressing, very. very good indeed! I love seeing rose's bloom. They do have such a beauty,but once pulled they die to soon. Just as we should learn to grow one should not take away what we gain and are replenished by. |
