Fingers can touch but they can point also
words linger too much, when theyre pointed, moreso
so i have my umbrella and i walk through the pain
and that person i tell her dont do that again

cause ive fixed up this leak too many times
and i may be too meek but shes played with my mind
and im wanting some weather a little more kind

its a dream i can only rescind.

Thrashing the wind
turns me around

and i took off my hat
and i sat
and i frowned.

ilph,
I like this it's different. At first I thought you were talking about gossip but the end had a twist.
be well

Hmm... this poem of yours sounds soooo lost Josh    And please do not frown for long...  after all, the wind always does blow a different way, in the end    Terrific piece!

josh
a beautiful poem...i really like it
especially the lines:
thrashing the wind
turns me around
written very well, i like the free style and the way you feel the frustration and the searching helplessness.
