A Mistake In Haste I have nothing to write This terrible night I would much rather just take flight Sail through the sky so very high till all the tear drops dry. A mistake in haste we have made. Pressures put where they do not belong A friendship torn? If I only knew? You Looked so blue. Drunken laughter with the smell of Booze was it me or was it you? A mistake in haste What a waste Feeling that were so true. Feelings that are now colored blue. Me and You. |

Some say that they wouldn't chang a thing in there past, well I sure would, plenty. Drunk or not. Great poem kid. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Wonderful work! I have wondered if, given the chance, should I change my past mistakes, if I did would I have learned the same lessons? God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown |
