A FLASH OF GOLD IN FIELDS OF GREEN Amidst the fields of endless green I spied a flash of purest gold Scarce believing what I had seen I shut my eyes the sight to hold And imprint in my inner eye Beside your image in my heart And escaped from my lips a sigh And my eyes opened with a start I looked out the window once again But the green fields were long gone past As I rushed along in the speeding train I thought of the years flown by so fast That solitary sunflower was none but You The endless fields the canvas of my life The speeding train my life running through Your destiny denying me the wine of life Deepak Menon |

life does pass so quickly..takes only a moment to lose our chance. this was very lovely. ~Dawn "Steady as it comes, right down to you, I've said it all, so maybe we're a Bliss of another kind" Bliss-Tori Amos |

What a great poem...so true, life passes by so fast, you have to keep your eyes open wide alllll the time! |
