Somebody else's

Somebody else got lucky
This time it wasn't me.
Somebody else is happy
That's how it's meant to be.
Somebody else I envy
My dream is her possess.
One thing I truly needed
Belongs to someone else.
Nothing I can do now
A thought I can not stand
Oh, a mistake so brutal
To fall for married men...

Great poem. You pack so much power in it.

Funny...I always heard that married men were the best because you never had to take care of them...
           I AM KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway...your poem is an enjoyable read, LM and very true...never fall for a married man unless you're out looking for trouble.

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

WOW!!! BRAVO!!! I can totaly relate to this. For you see, I fell in love with a married woman. She was the one that I started writing for and she never even asked me to do it. It just came out of me when we were together. Yes, we had an affair. She was my cheif inspiration and the person whom I have written most of my pieces about, including the one I'm about to post. Thank you so much for this piece! I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling this way. Take care. I wish you all the best!

Heh..talk about syncronicity.  There are a few threads in Open which cover this subject as well, in addition to a thread by Christopher in the Alley.  Pop on by and give a quick read, and perhaps, a reply.

Xeonox: thanks for the reply

Sonjes: It's really easy for you to talk, but sometimes life throws us into such unbelievable tales, no movie could describe... If you think I fell for the man because of my love for "troubles"... well, what can I say except that I'm happy for you, you weren't that "lucky"... thanks for your reply

G. A. Webb: Thanks so much! You definetely seem like you know what I'm talking about...
Like in that poem of yours "looks like YOU", I believe it was called. Thanks a lot for your comment!

Catalinamoon: Thanks for the reply and the offer to chat, I'll definetely write you soon

Jesse... thanks a lot dear   I feel your pain as well, thank your for offering your help   I'll write!

Alicat: Thank you as well, I'll drop in and read

Thanks again guys, I wasn't expecting such an understanding and care! Love you all, LM.
