Prisoner of Heart When next we meet can those words escape my lips or will fear retain them, keeping you a prisoner of my heart, never to know that I am swimming in your waters? Will I allow lips to press against mine, kissing in return, floating you in the pastel colors of my mind until we blend what is yours into mine and what is mine becomes yours, as we come to rest as one? I don't have to be near you to know part of me is already yours. Yesterday you said you loved me today I watch you and wonder if I imagined it. When love comes my way I want to make it a moment to last forever. Maureen *2k |

A prison cell that no one wants to leave when they find themselves there, what crimes do you have to commit to be a prisoner of the heart (sounds like an idea for a poem). Anyway beautifully written poem, wonderful piece.
