Breathless Beauty

Breathless beauty, clear your head and bind your past
I give you peace.  I give you love.  I offer my soul,
In return for yours

Breathless beauty, you need to see… a necessity, a way, a resolution.
Here, with me.
I see our pain's conclusion.

Take my nails away and I will take the marks they left
Breathless beauty, I will swallow your scars
I can endure the suffering
I can survive without breathing.

I will hand you my athame
My rusted dagger
Damaged by air and time
You may use it to carve a new path
You may use it to carve a future, our future.

Breathless beauty, can you hear the bells ring?
Can you see the silver and gold?
Can you taste the champagne?
I can.
All for me and my silent love
Sweet voices sing to us
You need to, want to, but cannot chime in
I long to hear your voice

Breathless beauty, do not be afraid of my fear
And do not cry from my pain
I am strong, but you are stronger

Live.
Do not leave
Love.
Do not lie
Speak.
Do not be silenced

Oh my breathless beauty,
I can set you free
I can already smell the relief
Do not fear my open lungs
Breathless beauty, it's time to breathe.

breathless indeed! very well spoken!

"breathless beauty, I will swallow your scars
I can endure the suffering
I can survive without breathing"

a very fine entrance...welcome to passions!

whatcha doing in this darkness baby
when you know love will set you free?
will you stay in the sea forever
Drowning there for all eternity? ~Live

Welcome to Passions...I hope that your stay is a long and prolific one as I am looking forward to reading more...much more...make me greedy for your words.

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

Welcome to passions!!  How breathtaking, refreshing, old worldly *sigh* everything this poetess loves.  Wonderful stuff, I'll be looking for another 'fix' soon

Love, tragedy, things suffered by the sane.  Those of us who have crossed the line no longer find the time, there are so many paths to explore, pains to enjoy, demons to converse with…oh, the things they can show you!
But I’m losing sight, I read “Cut Me Down”, so I now understand what you meant.  I think I remember what love feels like…I’m so sorry yours is dying…
Breathless Beauty,  what a shame, death by suffocation can be quite uncomfortable.  Again, I applaud you for you vivid skill in capturing these things we have a love-hate relationship with, these emotions.

I want to thank all of you that commented on my poems.  I never expected much positive response from anything I've posted.  It's very kind of you to share your feelings with me and to know that other people not only appreciate but can relate to what I've written is a really good feeling.

*sigh* yes indeed.
A reply eludes me, but I can say this, your words touched me and made me yearn.
Nice...
