Reflection

In my lonely world of mirrors
I dreamed up an emerald river
That slept its way
Through the crimson daze
Of poppy fields
Through the golden rain
Of October leaves
Beneath the crack
Of Winter's freeze
And through the scent
Of a primrose breeze
In my world of mirrors
I slept alone
By an emerald river
Dreaming of another time
When another's eyes
Reflected mine

Lotharingia, I loved it especially
I slept alone
By an emerald river
Dreaming of another time
When another's eyes
Reflected mine
Isn't that always the way you don't know what you've got till it's gone. :P

Be well

Lotharingia, very different and sadly
haunting. I especially liked

Beneathe the crack
of winters freeze.

Strong images, weaving time and color
into almost memories and longings
for a certain something. Nice write.

I found this very beautiful and haunting. Also loved all the wonderful colours.

(Are you having a "rainbow phase" at the moment Uta? - If so, the resulting work is very beautiful!)
