my world is falling around me but i have fresh bread
a cloud of darkness doth shroud me but i have fresh bread
the ghosts of death surround me but i have fresh bread
in life i am not fed but i have fresh bread

Great, short and sweet.

Words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think.

josh,
i liked your poem a lot.
especially:

a cloud of darkness doth shroud me but i have fresh bread
the ghosts of death surround me but i have fresh bread

(great rhyming)
the poem made me smile a lot...but although it is masked by humor there is depth to it.
yours, kat

Josh, loved the humor, at least you don't have to eat cake.
