The darkness seeps across the sun It over-rides the day on a wild red horse, It goes gliding through the skies. The darkness sets the course of so much remorse to this gloominess that overtakes the brightness with dark clouds rising constantly in the dark deep emptiness of the lifeless birds that drop from the trees. The birds once sang a melody so transcendant Now they die and stay in the graveyard next to the children that never had a chance to run and play. The world is hazey with so much pollution that rises up to the heavens seems that we use to love God's creation but now we simply throw it on the junk pile as if the earth will just pretend it never cared about the garbage it constantly swallows. Today the skies are gray with so much doom Yet we do not see what the whales go through deep below the sea's So here we see what's only on the surface but someday the skies will fall with a firey rage. The darkness comes with such a force We have no choice For the choice was made long ago when the Earth was tormented with such poisons and so we now suffer the aftermath. |
