Careful now, you could be next he's promised you the very best He seems to fill up all your needs but wait awhile, you should take heed. He's known for breaking ladies hearts, You could be next, left torn apart. Of course it could be different now, He may be truthful in his vows. You take your chances with this man, he'll steal your lifes blood if he can. Though you may think your love is found, he'll leave you weeping on the ground. A sorry mess, that's what you'll be unless you choose to listen to me... |

Sandra.... Somehow I feel that this extremely well-written poem should be dedicated to all of the women that have been stepped on in a bad relationship!! You told it like it is, was, and probably will be again. Nice writing here! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |
