Trains That Pass |

The angels watch the flickering, < !signature-->As embers slowly fade. As hope of what was meant to be, Becomes that which once was stayed. They watch as trains within the night, Pass by without a thought. They cry as souls that truely match, Go on when loves not caught. Into a life from loving heart, A soulmate, only one. Who listens, who can understand, Undo the things once done. For only once a lifetime, Does this soulmate cross your path. Just lack of faith can blind you, From the warmth of love to bask. The angels weep in sorrow, For the chance that once was lost. For though they both were blinded, They will always pay the cost. Of what was missed this lifetime, And for what they truely seek, For what is truely mighty, But they only saw as meek. For strength still has a weakness, As this is humanity. In life there's sweet surrender, Just to save our sanity. So here I stand in silence, As the tears are softly shed. Here I stand surrendered, To a faith that's surely dead. For faith in ones we care about, Is all we have to give. And faith in love and soulmates, Is what we need to live. The angels cry for embers, As they slowly start to fade. The angels weep for hope now lost, And dreams they could have made. When you are old and grey and full of sleep, And nodding by the fire, take down this book, And slowly read, and dream of the soft look Your eyes had once, and of their shodows deep; How many loved your moments of glad grace, And loved your beauty with love false or true, But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you, And loved the sorrows of your changing face... Very nicely done, indeed - We really do need to stop and notice those who cross our paths, don't we? We never know what special souls are there by happenstance... |

Ruth.....Thankyou so much my dear friend. It is good to see you out and about again as well. Your sweet, touching work has always been one of my favorites. Miss you. catalinamoon.....I have been around here for almost a year. I have posted in almost every forum we have around here...lol. I am glad that you have enjoyed this piece. Mike...You know that my lack of posting is not because of my lack of writing nor my lack of loving this place. It is simply an access issue at the moment. I hope that I can be back with a vengence in the near future. Naniness...you snuck in there on me...lol. You are very right my friend. Fate, destiny...whatever name you call it does have it's job in our lives. What we need is to have our eyes open. [This message has been edited by Marilyn (edited 08-08-2000).] |

Marilyn, What beauty in sadness there is. You have found it my friend and that is what carries us through...no matter how sad the beauty of life. Robert if you can dream; you can fly...if you are flying; you are dreaming. |

Marilyn, I only hang around dark passions and I haven't read anything of yours before. This is excellent. Be well Kethry. "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Wow, this is magical! What a great theme... Aren't we all looking for that one person that will make our life a dream come true? I know I am, and I always have that kreeping fear that I might miss him and never have the chance again. Wonderful writing! Take Care!
