This poem was written for my mother. She was killed by my father 15 years ago. she died on November 16th 1985 I was nine monthes old. You left me to long ago, It wasn't your time to go So many tears have I cried Sometimes I wish my death would coincide I have thought many times of taking my own life It would only take one cut from my knife Accepting your death is the hardest thing to do Even though I don't want to I know it's true This is my final good bye Though how I wish I could just say hi |

d...your love for your mom..although only known too a short time..but the most important of which was the sharing of her womb and the birth from someone who loved you...this all will remain with you forever and she knows..she is leading you...the angel on your shoulder...letting you know how much you were wanted and loved... and I feel for your loss in such a tragic way ~~soft hugs Maureen *and if you ever need a friend or shoulder just email me...I have a tender one to lend and having never had a child..there is always that mothering instinct within me...to share |

Firstly welcome to Passions.. A beautiful heartfelt poem and wish here hon. I too send sympathy for your loss of the mother you had know chance to know. How tragic. I hope you know that she is up there loving you and watching over you, your Guardian Angel.. and in that respect you are never alone. If you need to talk about these sometime please feel free to email me... I have lost a few dear people myself.. I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |
