Everyone had someone,
I stood alone.

All accompanied by another,
Strolling and kicking up sand;
I walked solitare,
A little cold in
Summer heat.

Talking amongst themselves,
Completely unaware
To the blaring
Grating
Piercing
Hateful screams
My loneliness was hurling
Their way.

OMG, have I ever felt this way. You walk alone and look at all the couples, and you are screaming inside, and no one even notices. Whew, so strong..

Kynder, how we torture ourselves..I see couples when Ive been alone sure they are blissfully happy..some are, but some are not as they appear. You did quite a remarkable job at expressing those feelings we get when we are alone!! Another great one!!

Indeed yes. A horrible feeling. Cat and Deb are both right! And no, people don't notice, do they ? Do they even revel in it? I wonder ...

sis i'm sending you Hugs hugs and more Hugs cause i love you and you seem like blood so next time you see those people and alone have alittle fun and pick and throw some of that sandy mud at them. enjoyed the read sis and hope i made you smile.
