You kiss me in the morning, it feels like goodbye, I don't know the when and wonder 'bout the why; our love at first encompassed the earth, the stars, the sky now you kiss me in the morning and it feels like goodbye. You hold my hand at noon-time, now I know it is farewell and I am suspended between heaven and pure hell a broken empty vessel, just a hollow shell for you held my hand at noon-time and I knew it was farewell You brushed my cheek this evening and said, "hey kid so-long It really has been great, but now I have to move along" The words within me withered as I wondered what went wrong that you brushed my cheek, shut the door and were completely gone Kethry. When dark of night steals your soul. Think of me and be made whole. |

I liked the flow of this Lynne. Those good-bye feelings are always hard. Very well written. |

~This read so well. Has a sound to it that just fits so well with the contents of the poem. Those little touches that you know are final in their doing make a heart ache. Wonderful poem. Be well LD. *Peace. |
