It is not what I imagine it to be
I cannot face this reality
Of you going that soon away
Saying that you cannot wait another day

But I've been here for you
All this while, with and beside
But you are planning to give up our love
Letting it get swept away with the tide

So I'll never admit this defeat
Of you saying this is it
So you think that all of life is one big show
But you have hurt me deep, but I guess you will never know

So you may go, I do not own you anyway
Fine,so what if you've meant something to me
What is the point if I keep on thinking about it day after day
Looking upon something that wasn't meant to be

I pray I will not miss you
Though I know I will
But now I do not feel anything
For my emotions you killed.......

LeeAnne...Now THIS is venting...but I know that it still hurts. Stay with us awhile..there is comfort here. Very nicely put...I enjoyed it. Hardrock

i really liked this. it was a very good poem, i almost cried, i know how you feel. but life goes on so smile
