Deathly Pale Deathly pale, harrowing the end of life’s trail, Ghosts are near, day-less drear Night skies draw near, Memories fade, Death’s blade digs deep, My soul do Death reap, Lifeblood do seep, Into the earth I do bleed, Life’s light into recede, Into afterlife I sail Harboring this cheerless shade, Deathly pale |
