The ground is spiralling and approaching, Menacingly. Something is happening. Freedom is coming. All men are pressing on, Completing this project, Arriving on time for that meeting. The engine is purring faster, but going nowhere. Freedom is coming to the world. Children are killing children, Maming animals and men alike. All for a scrap of food. Freedom is coming. People experience joy for ephemeral things. Mothers cry for the money it cost them, Tears reign and rule the law. But protest is prohibitted. Freedom is coming. Freedom is coming to all And all is coming to freedom. So they say.... But for me there is no freedom, Only sorrow. I lay in ruin, victim to what my people have created. Upon my back lies the burdon of all men, And the question. Where do we go from here? We are the hollow men We are the stuffed men Leaning together Headpiece filled with straw. Alas! Our dried voices, when We whisper together Are quiet and meaningless As wind in dry grass Or rats' feet over broken glass In our dry cellar Shape without form, shade without color, Paralyzed force, gesture without motion; --T.S. Eliot |

A howl for freedom HHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOWWWWWWLLLLLLLL Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

This poem is so true, kind of expressing a lack of faith in mankind's actions, and a will to change the course of the future. Great work. "Suicides have already betrayed the body. Still born, they don't always die, bu dazzled, they can't forget a drug so sweet that even children would |
