Why is my truth something frightening to hide? Why must I love you and still have to lie? If you knew all my secrets would you leave me in need? Are you scared of my love? Can't you feel my heart bleed? My truth stays denied for just a bit longer. My secret stays hidden but grows ever stronger. We hide behind sex, behind friendship and fun. But secrets will out before this is done... |

Whoaa!! Sandra...this is so good. Recognition and acceptance of the inevitable. "But secrets will out before this is done"...a promise, a warning, or just a prediction? Hmmm.....Hardrock |

Sandra......truth be told, many men are scared of love. Great! Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. -William Wordsworth- |
