Now that I've turned young, when will
the Justason girls married time
allow them to ever
kiss me, never caring that
the clock's ticking because love
was stuck in their budding breasts
and lips were locked. But I'll grow
with the time gone plumb crazy
and the bell of truth that rings.
How can I say I am old
just musing in the office
with my coffee cup, steaming
in hand, blue-eyed behind glasses -
thinking thoughts of pretty types,
dyed dark rooted hair that makes
no impression upon old
friends I've kept - I have turned young.

I'm gonna tell you the truth,...OK ? This is a very unique style you have here. It was interesting how it drew me in, begging me to follow and understand. I have to reiterate with my "Cooool" too ! Have to check out a couple more of yours, OK ?

Peace,  Geoffrey S.

Very nice and very realistic too

- James
The beauty of nature is displayed,
not through itself,
but through the creatures
dwelling within its bosom.

nice poem...

If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves
from which evolves the light...

Thank you jamesjiao I appreciate.

Thanks AVANTI for dropping in to read.

Thanks Jon...I guess it does have that ring to it, although that was'nt the inspiration.
A friend of mine is acting a little silly right now.
