As I walked through the gate this evening, Stepping into my own little world, Nature seemed at its finest, As new blossoms slowly unfurled. They timidly started to shiver, As each petal loosened its hold, Soon a pale yellow flower, Appeared as the night grew cold. In moments there were many more, Reaching up to the moon's tender glow, A glorious bouquet this evening, Entertaining with their nightly show. An audience of tiny fireflies, Twinkled gaily their delight, The moonflowers all stood proudly, Bringing beauty to the night. I stared in awesome wonder, At this scene before my eyes, The splendor that You give us, Even darkness can't disguise. |

BSC~ That was a wonderful poem! It created a great image in my mind! "Even a fool knows you can't touch the stars, but it doesn't stop a wise man from trying." Harry Anderson, "Night Court" *Cassandra Roseen* |

WOW! What a beautiful picture you paint. I love nature and the peace that nightime brings once all the hustle and bustle has gone to bed. Inspired work masterfully penned. Eric. "We are the music makers and we are the makers of dreams." - Willy Wonka. |
