The Rose of my Eye ~~~ Strolling through gardens of roses so rare thoughts drifting ... sweet essence enchanting the air The colors ... the hues all pleasing to eye each petal ... a picture make breathing a sigh The trickle of water to pool crystal clear The frolic of birds ... with nothing to fear A moss covered bridge o'er meandering brook 'neath flowering tree finds you ... lost ... in a book My silent approach brings sparkle to eyes your lips ... gently curl with pleasant surprise There in my hand ... knelt down at your side a ring made with diamond for ' the Rose of my Eye ' ~~~ |

The trickle of water to pool crystal clear The frolic of birds ... with nothing to fear A moss covered bridge o'er meandering brook 'neath flowering tree My silent approach brings sparkle to eyes your lips ... gently curl with pleasant surprise a ring made with diamond for ' the Rose of my Eye ' Sigh...Rex that was so beautiful, breath taking...wow. A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry |

I can only agree, very good and well done. Oh by the way was it not your daughter that wrote such nice pieces? I think there should be here to (If I'm right) The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |
