Mounting desire greets my fevered mind as I walk down the candy aisle each M&M, each Milky Way gives rise to my wanton smile Baby Ruth, Pay Day too all beckon me to a taste Snickers bars and Jujube’s that settle around my waist I pass them up for other things like carrots and celery sticks but hear them calling from the shelf those Red Vines and Pixie Stix Halloween is just around the bend so there’s plenty of bags in the store Candy Corn and Cracker Jacks and Peanut Butter Cups galore Then there will be Christmas Candy Canes are a sweet delight Homemade Fudge and Divinity dance in my dreams each night But I leave without a sweet being good for one more day knowing that again I’ve held those ‘candy cravings’ at bay! |

I'll have a kiss, and a mound or two and a big tall glass of Mtn Dew I'll have all I want to eat this day Today and tomorrow , the same I'll weigh. hehehehehehe... I who am 43 weigh the same as I did at 19...lol |
