Round and round and round she goes Where she stops nobody knows... Step right up boys and girls ladies and gents Take a spin Take a chance Life is a game you have to play to win Who's first? You sir? No? All it takes is a willing heart a little faith You ma'am? Whats fate have in store? New love? Adventure? Spin the wheel take a chance Dont cost a thing except for time Lady luck smiles on the bold Step right up dont be shy Who wants to play? Who wants to dare? Hurry before time passes you by Grab it with both hands and give it a spin Take a chance take a dare... Who's next? You? You? CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK...CLICKCLICK...CLICK...CLICK...CLI... |

what a cool poem. I think I like the fact that you made it so that people ignored the operator of the wheel as we[humans] tend to ignore those many chances and settle with the routines of life....great poem I enjoyed it much |

Rex Allen...well come on lets see what the wheel says for you...thanks Bdc...life would be pretty dull if we NEVER took a chance Mark...thanks guy...its not worth it if you are not willing to chance somethings Jenn E...life is a gamble from the day you are born...soem you win some you lose but you just HAVE to play JnR4eva...some people just need the safety of routine I suppose but what chances they mis out on what wonderful opportunities by playing it safe |

"Life's a game you play as you go, sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow..." Not sure who the singer is, but this reminded me of the song...I'm just waiting to come out ahead sometime |

Paula~ Wow ... what memories of an old tune this one brought back. I believe I recall that it was done by one of the 'torch singers' of her day ... Kay Starr ! (Yep ! Just looked it up.) In 1952 her hit 'Wheel Of Fortune' held the #1 spot on Billboard's Pop List for ten weeks. Great memory-shaker in your poem ! Now ... I can't stop singing ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

I love the way you set this poem up. Thats the way life is and the metaphor was perfect. I loved it and I love your name too. Hugs and Kisses, Paula |

Yes, Paula, life is a gamble and in order to win, we often have to take it with two hands and give it that spin. Well done, my friend. Excellently written. Michael |

Paula, Chances taken, spin that wheel, round and round she goes, where she stops, who knows? Very well done, as you do. |
