Eyes churning, fear burning Sorrow bleeding deep within Endless sky with ashen hue Screaming for what could’ve been. Angels dying, children crying The threads are wearing thin I feel your breath within my soul And the rush of pain begins. Ocean howls, forest scowls So let me hold you near Tomorrow owns the tundra’s touch But carry now no fear. On painted sky, white wings fly Carved from autumn breeze Love is fresh in cloudless moon Falling soft from Heaven’s sea. Bodies fade, a physical charade But spirits are immortal Grasp the moments close to heart And with light be ever full. *Krista Knutson* "You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back." -Barbara DeAngelis |

Wow Krissa! What a beautiful poem. It gave me wonderful pictures in my mind. "The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper." Eden Phillpotts *Cassandra Roseen* |

Beautiful Krista, truly beautiful. Thank you for writing this one. It touched me beyond words... I'm going to show this one to my mom... And I loved that last verse. "Bodies fade, a physical charade But spirits are immortal Grasp the moments close to heart And with light be ever full." Much truth there, and much good advice... Loved it Krista Abrahm Simons "Keep on dreamin' boy 'cause when you stop dreaming it's time to die" - Blind Melon |

once again, delicate and apt use of language and diction. Great job. Unrequited love sucks. |

WOW beautiful write. I seemed to see an angel forming from the clouds of the night sky....I may have missed it some but that is the image it gave me. Truely an amazing creation and the message just massaged it with grace. |

Wonderfully crafted Krista. This piece sings of your talent. The imagery is wonderful and it carries the reader from the first line right to the end. Well written my friend. When you are old and grey and full of sleep, And nodding by the fire, take down this book, And slowly read, and dream of the soft look Your eyes had once, and of their shodows deep; How many loved your moments of glad grace, And loved your beauty with love false or true, But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you, And loved the sorrows of your changing face... Krista, this is such an inspirational piece of writing. The moment of transition very well could be like this. So lovely, my friend. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
