A Kiss of Ecstasy From distance neither near nor far, _the view of her was clear. Her beauty glowed from light of moon, _as she strolled by, quite near. I watched her as she stopped by pond, _her visage, it did mirror. Then sliding off her slipper there, _to test if warm or cool. With furtive glance she looked about, _to see if lone by pool. Her probity then disappeared, _to frolic like tomfool. Done with dance, she did look about, _her privacy assured. Sensuously, she did disrobe, _almost to be demure. Long dark hair against ivory skin, _contrasting beauty pure. Wading into the still waters, _reflections danced about. In love I was from first of glance, _of this, there was no doubt. I trembled as I stood and watched, _my love, I wished to shout. To darkened end of pond I stole, _and loosed my clothes to ground. Into the cool water I slipped, _making nary a sound. I watched her swim from shadows deep, _while trying not to drown. I blinked for just a moment, then, _no where in sight was she. My eyes searched quickly all about, _I strained my eyes to see. My heart did nearly stop it's beat, _as she rose, facing me. Those hazel eyes beguiled me so, _her gaze held me spellbound. She smiled a knowing smile at me, _my heart began to pound. I tried to speak, to no avail, _I could not make a sound. She laughed as she pushed me under, _freeing me from her spell. I heard her laugh, as I found air, _sweet, like a tinkling bell. I swam toward her, quick and sure, _she feigned escape so well. Splashing, thrashing, playful fighting, _then vanished from my view. I waited as the water calmed, _a minute, maybe two. Spinning slowly round, eyes searching, _she smiled, as she said, "BOO!" Again she held me with her gaze, _this time they beckoned me. I pulled her gently in my arms, _so beautiful was she. Her lips parted, inviting mine, _a kiss, of ecstasy. Steve B 2000 |

What a fun sensual romp...you have done a fantastic job with this one..I have a picture in my bedroom of a beautiful Asian woman half way into a pond...exactly as you have described... with a waterfall and the moon in the background...long black silk hair...one of my favorites...I confess that I love Asian women...I have a lunch date with a lovely one today...must get ready soon...James [This message has been edited by jmlee12345 (edited 08-10-2000).] |

Artistic~ it pleases me that my words please thank you so much ![]() J~ Thank you for your time and kind words, and yes the theme was similar to Moonlight Visage, but the form different, this poem is in a modified ballad form that I use and like for telling longer stories...while Moonlight Visage is a new free form, I tried which near the end turns from rhyme to prose...thanks again for your interest.. ![]() Claire~ ![]() and appreciated, thank you for them and your time....Steve B Paula~ ![]() and thoughts...and certainly you can come swim anytime.. ![]() [This message has been edited by Steve B (edited 08-13-2000).] |
